Cricket phones are unlocked using the "Device Unlock" app. An unlock code is no longer necessary.

It's permanent! No relocking after software updates.

Once unlocked, you will be able to use your phone with any GSM SIM card worldwide.

Unlocked phones will not support CDMA SIM card such as Sprint, Tracfone and Verizon.

To prevent people from unlocking their phones, Cricket is relocking phones before our clients get the chance to unlock their phones. This means that if you take too long to follow our instructions, Cricket might have locked your phone again. To prevent this from happening, we suggest paying any outstanding balance and performing the instructions we send via email as soon as your order is completed.
